Quebec Business Immigration – Investor

 

The Quebec Investor Program is sponsored by the Province of Quebec, to facilitate immigration to Quebec for businesspeople. 

  • Qualify for the Quebec Investor Immigration program, you must have a net worth of at least CAD $1,600,000.  In addition you must be willing to make a deposit of $800,000 with the Government of Quebec for a period of 5 years.  This money will be returned to you after the 5 year period with no interest gained.

If the Quebec Investor does not wish to freeze the amount of $800,000.00 CDN for a period of 5 years, he or she will have the option to borrow the investment amount through a designated broker or trust company by paying a lump sum covering interests and administrative fees. This amount will be approximately $180,000.00 CDN and it will cover the interests and administrative costs to set up the loan.

  • Have acquired a minimum of two years of management experience (planning, supervision and control of the financial and the human or physical resources) over the course of five years prior to the submission of the candidate’s application. Must also have accumulated this experience in an enterprise (agricultural, commercial, or industrial, OR management experience in a governmental or international organization) and in a position defined as full time
